Laser Cut and Engraved







Wood is an ideal medium to work with the laser. Most intricate designs can be engraved into wood. We have a wide client base, who use our expertise to create some stunning effects.

MATERIAL APPLICATION EXAMPLE
Veneer from various woods cuts very easily but can be a problem to keep large sheets flat on the laser bed. Engraving is possible but the depth of cut is critical Musical & jewellery boxes and marquetry  
1.5 mm Plywood cuts well on the laser. It is a versatile material with interior grade cutting better with far less marking. Business cards, model parts, point of sale items, rustic product tags
3mm plywood and less can be used for many applications. Thicker ply takes much longer to cut and is used only for specialist items. Necklaces, bracelets, tags for merchandising and model parts.
5mm wooden panels in oak, cherry, birch, sycamore specially prepared for laser cutting and etching Wedding place names, lettering and signage or any other usage where high quality is required
Wooden frames - Any design can be used on a frame with the size of engraving being determined by the wooden surround and the size of the laser bed. Genealogy picture frames, family or presentation frames

Wood up to 350mm thick can be engraved.

Wooden products can be easily engraved.

Engraved leopard on puzzle pieces. 115mm x 115mm x115mm.

Other products such as wooden spoons, napkin holder, pens, display boxes can be engraved with logos and text.
Lite Ply, Balsa, 1mm & 2mm MDF - cut easily and are mostly used for model making Model making

MDF to 9mm thick

MDF is flat with a uniform density, which makes it ideal for the laser.
Plinths, pedestals. mould tooling, profiling. Thicker parts achieved from composite parts as shown.

MDF 3mm – cuts easily and can be use to create detailed parts Central Rose for a musical instrument is just one of many applications
